We help HOAs and commercial properties with drainage renovation projects.

BURIED HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL LINE

Installing 30” culvert in a 7’ deep trench underneath an existing electrical main.

Total stormwater system renovations.

In our work with HOA’s over the past several years we’ve noticed a pattern. Developments that were built in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s are getting to a point where their drainage and stormwater infrastructure is beginning to fail and they need a systematic renovation of the entire stormwater system. The symptoms of these are:

  • Old CMPs (corrugated metal culverts) are oxidizing and failing

  • Failing culverts and stormwater conveyance lines

  • Storm sewer boxes decaying and disintegrating

  • Drainage swales filling up with sediment and debris

  • Subtle grade changes affecting stormwater flow-paths

  • Erosion caused by increased storm-severity

  • Undersized existing storm water infrastructure

Our crew skillfully installs and renovates drainage infrastructure around existing infrastructure, and can make on the ground changes to ensure the project’s success.

Our team can help guide your HOA or commercial property through the process of a total stormwater system renovation.

  • 1. Assessment and design

Oftentimes, this step is performed by an engineering firm, sometimes with the help of the contractors (us) or others. During this phase, we articulate specific places that need to be addressed, and develop a scope of the project as a whole and priority projects.

  • 2. Planning and budgeting

As contractors, we can help with installation specific planning and also with budgeting. This is an essential phase that must be done well in order to have a successful project—one that finishes on time and at or under budget.

  • 3. Implementation

Our implementation team transforms detailed plans into reality, ensuring precision and efficiency. We manage all aspects of the project execution, coordinating seamlessly to bring your vision to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.

  • 4. In the field adjustments

Our field team adapts to real-time conditions, making necessary adjustments to ensure project success. We address challenges promptly, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and meets all specifications.

  • 5. Project tracking

We provide comprehensive tracking, so you always know what scopes were performed on what day, for how much, and how much is left, so you can know what is going on with your project.

  • 6. Ongoing Maintenance

Our maintenance services ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your completed projects. We offer regular inspections, repairs, and upgrades to keep your infrastructure functioning at its best.

Here are details of some projects we’ve worked on.

  • Beaverdam Run

We permed a drainage system renovation for this HOA, replacing appromimately 2500 linear feet of corrugated metal culvert with new, HDPE culvert, in approximately 35 different locations throughout the development.

  • Fletcher Industrial Park

This was a complex, large project, where we installed over 3000’ of culvert and 15 storm drains, including a run of 30” that had to be installed at a .2% slope. We finished on-time and on-budget on a tight timeframe, finishing just before the entire site was re-asphalted.

  • High Vista HOA

At High Vista in Mills river, we performed a whole-system drainage renovation, cleaning approximately 1.5 miles of road swale, and replacing around 30 culvert road crossings, pulling out rusted corrugated metal culverts and replacing them with high-quality HDPE culverts.

  • Black Mountain Bioretention

We installed bio retention ponds and a rain garden to help with water quality of runoff flowing into the Swannanoa River. Our partners on the project were Land of Sky Regional Council, Wildlands Engineering and the Town of Black Mountain.
